We’ve been debating for the last couple of years on whether cannabis should be legalized or not but it’s about time we should look at the perks of Cannabis that could really benefit the people.

Recent researches on cannabis showed that Medical cannabis can help patients with many severe diseases and chronic pains. A study found that cannabis can cure 50% of your migraine and this is just the tip of the iceberg, Cannabis can help in so many ways that we are yet to find but the respected senators still believe that cannabis can only be used to get high.
Another research found that treating autism with cannabis continues to expand. In one of the latest studies, published in the most recent issue of the journal Frontiers in Neurology, patients with autism receiving “CBD-enriched” cannabis oil showed vast improvements in social interaction and communication, as well as other neurological benefits.
Economy
While opposing the use of Cannabis, Government is also making a huge amount of money selling medical cannabis. Last year, Colorado almost made more than $1 billion in revenue in selling Cannabis-Related products.
On the other hand, More than 9000 job opportunities were created all thanks to Medical Cannabis Treatment Centers. According to the state’s Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU), on Dec. 28, 2018, there were 167,211 patients with medical marijuana ID cards, 1,917 physicians qualified to prescribe medical marijuana and 86 dispensaries statewide.
Nearly a year later, the OMMU’s Nov. 22 weekly update states that there are 287,196 Floridians with medical marijuana ID cards, 2,594 physicians qualified to prescribe medical marijuana and an even 200 dispensaries statewide which means that more than 20k Job opportunities were created in the whole country.
Conclusion
There are millions of reason why cannabis should be legalized but there are some aspects that are trying to stop this legalization, Last years almost 40 people died due to vaping related cases and it really hurt the legalization moment but then it was revealed that to contaminated E-cigarettes were responsible for those deaths.
IMO, Cannabis should be legalized so people can use to make their life better, It has already changed the life of many who were either suffering from fits, autism or chronic pain. Many scientists are still researching on Cannabis and I think that we will hear more about the benefits and medical uses of Cannabis.
