For the past couple of years, the media, internet and social media have been raving about CBD. You may wonder, what is CBD? Why are people talking about it?

First, you should understand what CBD stands for. It stands for cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is a chemical compound derived from hemp or cannabis plant. Various studies have reported CBD’s potency in reducing epileptic seizures. Since it can provide pain relief, CBD has been used to fight against arthritis, muscle pains and even the symptoms of chemotherapy. It also useful in treating anxiety for it mellows a person’s nervous systems.

Now considering all these things and more that you’ll find on the media and the internet, it’s not strange why people are talking about CBD at all.
